Empathy is defined by dictionary.com as "the intellectual identification with or vicarious experiencing of the feelings, thoughts, or attitudes of another." It is yet another reminder that we are all connected in so many ways, primarily as people who can feel and be moved by the stories of the other. Whether through movies, talk shows, blog posts, videos or more, we have the ability to learn not only from our own life experiences, but from the life experiences of others, and I would say that is a very GREAT gift.
